Don Phillips | Senior Pastor

Don Phillips is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. He came to Calvary in 1985 from Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Arkadelphia, AR. Don is a graduate of White Hall High School, Ouachita Baptist University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Don is married to Sharon Floyd and they have three children; Jenny and her husband John Rogers and daughter Bella and son Jet, Jay, who is a native of Equador, and Caroline and her husband Matt Jones. Don loves Jesus, family, the outdoors, people, and the Razorbacks.

Jonathan Wolfe | Worship Pastor

Jonathan Wolfe is the Worship Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church. He was born and raised in Camden, graduating from Camden Fairview in 1997. He attended several universities in Arkansas before graduating from SAU with a Bachelors in Applied Science in 2004. Jonathan entered the ministry in 2005 as an interim Youth Pastor at Cullendale First Baptist Church in Camden. After two stints as the interim, Jonathan followed God's call into full time ministry and became the Youth Pastor at Cullendale. With a background in music and a passion to follow God's call, Jonathan transitioned from the youth ministry to leading worship in November 2010 here at Calvary Baptist Church.

Adam Tarleton | Youth pastor

Adam is the Student Pastor at Calvary Baptist Church. He and his wife Sarah are both MK’s and met overseas in Russia in Junior High. After they graduated from Union University in 2009, they married and moved to Texas where Adam began attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In February, 2016 the Lord brought Adam and his family to Calvary, where the staff has enjoyed teaching this city boy how to appreciate good country living. Adam and Sarah have four children—Luc, Gia, James, and Emily—who keep them ever smiling but constantly on their toes. Adam has a passion for traveling to new places, watching sci-fi movies, reading good books, teaching the Word, and investing in students.

Cindy James | Children's Minister

Cindy James is our Children’s Minister at Calvary. She and her husband Scott have been members of Calvary Baptist Church for 27 years. Cindy has served on staff for 10 years. She is a graduate of Woodlawn High School and Southern Arkansas University Tech. Part of her heart is in Tennessee where their oldest son Clint is a Senior at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro and will graduate in December. Cindy and Scott enjoy going to footballl games on Saturdays to watch their favorite player, Brett, their youngest son. He is a Sophomore at Ouachita Baptist University and wears #85 for the Tigers.

Adam o'dell | MInister of counseling

Adam O’Dell is the Minister of Counseling at Calvary Baptist Church. Adam attended Harmony Grove Schools and grew up attending Calvary Baptist Church. He then graduated from Southern Arkansas University where he earned his MS in Counseling. He has worked with children and adults since 2008. Adam became the Minister of Counseling in 2016. He enjoys bow hunting, fishing and spending time with his wife, Hannah and their young son, Archer.

Paula Word | Church Secretary

Paula has been on staff at Calvary Baptist Church since March 1988. Her family consists of Robin Hicks and his wife Kim, Kevin Hicks and his wife Manisha, Rachel Jones and her husband Ryan. She has three grandchildren. She loves serving and cooking. She makes the worlds best sweet tea.
